Drop by at the ‘Winter spirits and kebab festival’ that is on at Hotel Meghalaya from 11 AM to 11 PM, until 10 November. This festival is being held at Ember, the bar-cum-restaurant of the hotel, with six different varieties of kebabs each being served in veg and non-veg cuisines. The Visalandhra Book House is conducting the ‘Ninth Visakha Book Festival’ at Turner Choultry, from 11 AM to 8.30 PM, until 23 November. The book festival has 1,000 titles and about 100 publishers on sales. Amongst these, the known ones include Penguin, Rupa, Navneet and Orient. There are sales on some known Telugu publications too.
Competition for school children
